From seeeing both of them playing each other in Edinburgh Cox is more 'robust' than Evo but Evo looks taller.

I was basing it on the "short" - Evans isn't short, Cox is. Maybe someone completely different then.

LTA website has Dan at 5'9 so it was probably him. Didn't see him up close so maybe compared to others he looked shorter.

Final Qualifying round will be

Smethurst vs. Whalley
Evans vs. Jones
Grigorov v. M. Brooklyn
Corrie vs. Farron-Mahon
Marsland vs. Bradshaw
Sletting-Johnson vs. El Menshawy
Fitzpatrick vs. Bidmeade
Gregory vs. Nott

So... 2 guarenteed British qualifers... but hope for more.

Smethurst, Evans and Fitzy should all qualify, and hope Corrie can, although needed a 3rd set TB today isn't promising... may be just the 3 or 4 qualifiers this week though

I agree I really think that Evo's game is very similar to Henins! Think he needs a serious gym session!! I hear that Ben Pritchard has offered to show him arround the weight room abit...he looks like he has been on it recently..hes MASSIVE now!! I think Evo could also learn something from Pritch's backhand! If uve ever noticed that Pritch has a really good single hander, I dnt know why he doesn't use it all the time!! Lastly I'm thinking if that Rogan Egerton guy wasn't there then all the banter would be lost! I think they should pay him appearance fees!!

Wow, I wasn't aware that Pritchard has a single hander. Do we have any other British player with one barring him and Naomi Broady?

Welcome to the forum, couldn't break an egg. And thanks for all the interesting info!

Great day for Menshawy and maybe he's starting to show good results at last. Thanks for all the news and scores, Mervatron, Johnny and Steven.

pritchard is built like a Asparagus, Rogan Egerton Should be paid to not play the tournaments as he drags down the level of play vastly although he does have a sweet single hander "it gets results" if evo needs to learn anything its not off pritchard but off rogan's single hander!

Some nice match-ups there....poor Fitzy gets the top seed !!!

So 4 all Brit ties gets us at least 4 into R2.

Evo, Hewitt and Smethurst are the likely ones to join the R1 Brit winners.

Of the All-Brit ties I will go for Alex Ward, Chris Nott, Illingworth and Bammy.

Compared to last week, that's a horrendous draw - Fitzy, Kinsella, Milton and Flan getting the top four seeds!
