Should get some qualifiers out of that draw, which will just increase the amount of Brits playing ever so slightly.

Smethurst, Evans, Corrie/Pritchard, and Fitzy should all qualify, so 4 is the minimum that we should be looking at really.

No idea what the cut ended up as though, as Bains, Flanagan, Kinsella and Rice were the next 4 on the list and none of them are in qualifying, so either they all sneaked in or the last couple got WC's.

Waitling has a WC, and I think Rice may have needed 1 as well, which is 2 WC's... Arlidge and Brassington are missing as well, so I guess they got the other 2.

Delighted as I am for Mervatron and Johnny that they'll get to see Evo, I can't help feel bad for him. He'll be playing his eighth match in as many days tomorrow!

Look on the bright side, at least he'll be far too knackered to be going out and getting hammered after all that tennis. wink

Just got back from there now.

Egerton is a nut job. He lost his serve then thre his racket at his chair which broke a glass. Stormed off to the toilet, comes back 5 minutes later nd looses the next 2 games easy, then storms off the court with his racket bacg but Jane Harvey stopped him. he then had an 'injury' time out and then gave up.

Its had all started as both players kept complaining about the line calls from each other.

Lewis Barnes was totally in control of his match was 5-2 up in both sets but somehoe managed to screw things up. His forehand on the run is huge.

Whalley won 6-0 6-4

Chaudrey won 6-1 6-1. The rallies were really close but Ward would end up missing thr final shot.

Jones won 6-4 7-6. Serve for the match at 6-5. One of the umpires had to stay on court for the last 2 games as both were constantly complaining about the others line calling.

Egerton is a nutter yes! they are both friends and dunbar was staying out his house for this tournament......rogan is not letting him stay anymore! haha

I think Pritch deserves a WC here ahead of brass seeing as he did beat him last week for his first point or a even better way giv brassington and pritch the WC's and get rid of bumham's WC ......problem solved also tournament is on a outside hard court. Which Bumham obviously can't play on anyway only does well on astro or grass!
