Baker has withdrawn from Italy Futures next week - does this mean he is in to qualifying??

Or the more likely situation is that he got injured getting thumped 6-2 0-6 0-6 in the ATP qualies he has just played and needs a rest.

Baghdatis out and that gets King Oscar a main draw spot. That doesn't change the qualies field, though.

But Sorensen (as expected) and Felder have withdrawn. We now know the official version of the entry list -

1. Klein, Brydan AUS 295
2. Gard, Catalin ROU 296
3. Todero, Nicolas ARG 299
4. Francis, Alberto USA 302
5. Coelho, Andrew AUS 303
6. Baker, Jamie GBR 304

Ljubicic wil most probably withdraw, but we don't know if that'll be before the qualies matches begin.

If the draw is made 6pm local time, that will be 11 tonight BST, won't it? So we will have to be patient.

The next man into the main draw will be Karanusic, so maybe Ljubo will withdraw before the deadline to help him? Assuming that he isn't fit enough in the first place, of course!

Qualies draw time is 6 hours and 30 minutes, so we need some more withdrawals, quick! Or else Baker will have to rely on getting in as an alternate.

Well, I think that if it had been that serious, he wouldn't continue playing?

In any case, he hasn't withdrawn till now, so he himself has hopes of playing (or else doesn't have immediate access to a computer).

I wonder whats the most amount of Brits we have been able to have in a Slam qualies round in recent memory, It seems like there could be a lot of Brits in the frame.
