Finals opponent has little ITF experience (one 10K QF), but was voted collegiate player of the year, and won the NCAA championships this year. Will be tough.

Her opponent hasn't dropped a set all week. The closest anyone has got was 7-6, all the other have been easy. Probably a tougher match this week compared to last week.

Alice Barnes has gone to study medicine last i heard and after uni said she had no desire to return to the pro circuit.

Emily lost 6-1 6-0.

Thats a beat down.

Hopefully she stays positive, its been a great 3 weeks. Back to back finals, hadnt been in a final before. Back into the 600's. Things looking good for London in just over a week.

Agreed. Emily should return to the UK proud of her come back. Hopefully she can continue this form for the rest of the year.
