We have the top 4 ranked brits playing here (I think); Anne, Katie, Bally, South.
Anne just got into the MD by the skin of her teeth and the other three in the QD. GL girls! Qualie draw should be out in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Anne becomes the first British direct entry into a Tier 1 since 1999.
No Bally - hope she is ok.
Lee Waters lost in singles today, but plays doubles sf with Oudin against Georgie and partner shortly. If she wins then assuming the doubles final is on Saturday daytime she should still be able to make Montreal in time to play two matches on Sunday.
MD. Tough but I think doable. The upside about losing early this week is that she has had time to rest and should be really fresh come monday. Kirilenko is a tough cookie but she is still very inconsistent and just lost to Errani today. Cmon Anne.
Tough main draw for Anne, but lucky qualy draw for both. You don't normally get seeded to qualify for a Tier 1 ranked around 150, but the Olympics means a clash with a Tier 4 and a great opportunity.
Katie is second match on court 5 (following Lepchenko) Mel is third match on Court Banque National (following Spears)
Great chance for Katie and Mel to pick up some big points here and keep on climbing. Katie seems to be rebounding well from her major points loss from the grass, slow and steady does it. I'm hoping all 3 can manage to get a seeding for US open quallies.
Katie won 6-4 6-3. On the plus side her returning stats were good converting 6 out of 7 break points. On the negative side her achilles heel of second serve was in evidence, and overall she only won just over half of her serving points. Still a win is a win (and 10 points!)
