Istanbul quali draw out and NO Brits....top seed ranked 313.

Bloomers, Ken and James Ward were all down in the entry list but none in qualies. So have they all got in direct...not possible but Richard could have ?

Can't imagine Bloomers will have flown all the way from the US to Turkey for 1 week of tennis, after just arriving in the USA... would cost far too much money to get there, which is why Seator is in Vigo rather than here.

Bloomers and Skupksi will probably be in Bronx qualifying... Ward is a DE in New Dehli anyway, so he'll stay there (and as he's got the doubles final to play, he wouldn't have been able to get to Istanbul really anyway)

Haven't got any time to start the threads, but...

Seator is 8th seed in Vigo qualifying and both Bloomers and Baker show up in the Washington qualifying draw

Nice to see but all three have tough draws if they want to qualify.

Baker could face Somdev again if he makes it to R2

Thanks for the info and good luck to Alex, but I thought you weren't allowed to withdraw from a main draw and play a different tournament in the same week? confused.gif

Which main draw would Alex Ward have been withdrawing from though?

Don't think he was playing the GB future as he was going to play the nationals, so he hasn't withdrawn from any event (as juniors are a seperate circuit)

And if you get permission from the tournament director where you are withdrawing from, you can play a different event anyway.

He entered GB F13 initially, but withdrew a few hours after the entry deadline.
