this is becoming a joke,do they not have weather forcasts? do they simply say. oh iy might be dry tommorow lets wait? should have gone indoors on wednesday.
ita really impressive the way he seems to be digging out these wins recently. lol it seems the the relationship with brad maybe starting to pay off? or maybe it just alex is getting it togtehr him self again?
and for better or worse he is playing himslef in to the dc team

Yes, it was indoors, fantastic win by the Bogster. Now he's taught all those players in Cincy how to 'do a Boggo choke', he's doing the opposite himself, which is even better. Hopefully the days when he would have given up after losing a tight 2nd set are now gone.
As you say, for better or for worse, he's playng himself into the DC team - if it wasn't for past history, there wouldn't be any question now that he was going to get the 2nd DC singles spot. Maybe it's a good thing - against Austria he could conceivably get a winnable match on grass against a top 100 player (so a bit less pressure than if he was playing someone ator below his ranking level) and I've always thought that winning a match at DC or at Wimby (let alone both) might be just what he needs to get the confidence to finally crack the top 100.
Of course, if he does get picked as the second singles player and doesn't win, it would partially undo all the good work of the last couple of months, but given the surfance the tie is being played on and quite how clearly Boggo is the 2nd best singles player at the moment with Jamie B still apprarently nowhere near his old level, I think Lloydy probably has to risk it.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Another great win for Boggo, and recently he's been pulling these close wins out and not choking, which is what was holding him back, so I guess the work with Gilbert has eventually paid off after taking it's time to do so.
Sela in the QF's is winnable, and would be another name to add to Count's old signiture of the top 100 players he's beaten, and Sela hasn't exactly had the results of a top 100 player, reaching just 1 challenger semi-final (and that was last week)
Boggo could win it, and I don't see what Sela has in terms of weapons as he's always looked very average when I've seen him play (except for Davis Cup in Israel when he's a world-beater)
On the Davis Cup issue... Boggo has to be in the squad, and probably has to play the first match against Melzer, because there's no-one else who would have a chance of winning.... but... I'd expect Melzer to beat Boggo, and if Andy slips up in a match, or we lose the doubles (which against Melzer/Knowle is possible), then Boggo would be under a lot of pressure in the 5th rubber, possibly from the press asking why this man who always loses is playing for us, and it could get to him.
But Boggo has to play it (unless we throw the rubber and save Boggo for a 5th rubber, if necessary) as he's the only player who could win it.
sela does seem to have lessen slighty recently, he had wins over kifer and roberedo and htlee on hard courts. he also won 3 hard ct chllanegers late last year in the far east.
lets hope alex is still feeling good, that match vs robbie will have strained his leg so lets hope it can hold up.
the form he is showing is certianly promising for the uso qualies too. lets hope he gets a nice draw there.
