Although Margot lost (shock horror) it was at least a closer fight from her. Sometimes I wonder if Margot played some of the really weak 10Ks (where unranked players get into the md) she might actually win some matches and gain some positive tennis experience, I mean surely losing in qualies for 25Ks and 50Ks is not rewarding??

As for Anna, well she had a pretty tough first round match. Meddens won a 10K on clay earlier this year, has beaten Jade Windley and generally seems to be on the way up, so it's good that Anna managed to tough this one out

I wonder what happened there, it doesn't look good does it.
