Great set of wins for Bains, who's had a poor season so far, but this could be the turning point if he kicks on from this.
I think he lost to Kang in the first round a couple weeks ago, so chance for him to get revenge on him and make a semi final.
Great win in the doubles, although Vejmelka had lost in the singles, so probably didn't want to hang around for too much longer... or maybe he heard about Pless/Lu losing 0 and 0 in 33 minutes in Indi yesterday and wanted to lose even quicker

And one of the players on the other side of the net in the SF will be his R2 opponent today, Alexey Golovachev. AG & his partner, Maxim Kanakov, are the only seeded pair left in the tournament (4), but Kanakov also lost in the singles today, to yet another Korean...! That said, neither was seeded in the singles.

Mixed fortunes for Maniel today: he lost his singles QF to Kang 1 & 2 ( ), but he & Klein took out the fourth seeds 3 & 4 & then went on to beat the local pair, Bykov & Makeyev, 1 & 1 in the final!
