Prakash Amritraj In A Tour Final.

jawdrop.gifclap.gif Beating Dancevic by 76 46 63 in Newport.

In case anyone has ten odd minutes in her/his hands, they should see this video someone uploaded as it's great tennis from two natural grass players - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoNR-kjKBak

I like it far more than the Wimbly final, anyday. First time I'm seeing Dancevic play and I didn't know that he had a one handed BH! ashamed.gif

Kash plays Santoro in the final today. Will be tough, but it's a winnable match.

India should seriously start having grass Challengers (Tour would be better, but it's sort of impossible) again. Now it's upto India and Australia to take grass tennis forward, given that the LTA aren't very interested

I watched some of that match and the surface is ultra quick. Like good old fashioned grass courts really. One thing that stood out to me about Dancevic was his touch at the net, I had no idea he volleyed so well.

Whilst on the subject of Santoro does anyone have a youtube link to his through the legs clean winner yesterday?

Probably the only true grass courts left at the top level along with Nottingham. cry.gif

Anyway, Kash lost by 3 and 5 to Santoro. Expected but I feel bad all the same - hopefully he'll get it next year or maybe after that.
