A pity, given how the top half of the draw had opened up, but I guess this is the match where the long Final on Monday and the 6 hour flight finally caught up with him.

thats disapointing. i guess alex ran out of steam or perhaops his serve which by all accounts had been excellent recently deserted him. so thats gives stoppy a 3-0 h2h over alex and he has never been inside the top200! there must be something aobut his game that really gets him. last time alex lost to him was coming on the back of a 60 62 win as well so its very odd.
the only +ive is that alex seems to be winning his tb's at the mo, he's won the last 5 he has played.

Stoppini is clearly the new Noam Okun for Bogdanovic; a very average player that he just cannot beat for some unknown reason.
Disappointing loss for Boggo as this has a good chance to go deep in a tournament again, but guess the tiredness of the last couple of weeks caught up with him and he just couldn't play his best tennis.
Gives him a rest before Lexington though, where hopefully he can be bck to his best and win a couple of matches there
