Oh, sorry! I don't know where I read that Valenicia will be clay. confused.gif Just assumed it, I guess.

And who knows what'll happen with Hamburg! But it's good news that Kitzy is being removed - Austria has two tournaments anyway and the weather there is too harsh for outdoor tennis in July. I'll be happy as long as they don't replace it by another clay tourney (unless it's the resurrection of ATP Bournemouth, of course!).

Valencia is currently a clay court event, which is where the confusion probably came from.

The Hamburg situation... either there will be 4 clay court '1000' events if they win they court case to go with Rome, Madrid and Monte Carlo (which players don't have to play, unlike Rome and Madrid where you must play), or an extra '500' on clay if the ATP win.

I'd hope they do replace Kitzbuhl though... with either an event in Belgium, the Czech Republic or Serbia, as these countries deserve an ATP event, and the most likely slot on the calender for them is here, which means it will probably be on clay

Yeah, of course the confusion came from that. smile.gif

An event in Serbia would be brilliant, but I don't see it happening next year. Would love to be wrong, though - they badly deserve it.

Just what he did. w00t.gif Hopefully next year he'll be able to match the big shots (at last).
