As you say, it's all about his young age. Let us give him some time - one month, two months, six months, and if even then he doesn't get another point (assuming he will keep playing week in and out in Spain), you can say that he isn't fulfilling his promise.

I think he needs to take a few weeks off and train hard. And of course, belief is the key...
