She did - 6-2. Six games in a row. Puchkova up to 19 dfs. However I once saw Anna Kournikova serve 33 dfs in a match and win against a top 100 player - the problem is the returner gets no rhythm either.

Puchkova appears to be in a line of Russians with chronic df problems (Kournikova and Dementieva especially) but they compensate in other ways.

Against all expectation she served it out for a 4-6 6-2 6-3 win. Excellent to back up yesterday's big win, even if it was with a lot of assistance. Next round will probably be Larcher de Brito, who thumped the top seed 0 and 1 (still to play second match).
