I can't believe Serena lost the first set to a 15 year old Bolletieri ball bashing babe! From what i've heard she has the Maria Sharapova grunt to back it up too!

But yeah, Anne is on at 3rd match on which will probably be about 10 o clock. I'll definatly be watching that on the livestream!!

After seeng her at Wimbledon qualies I'd say she has a bigger grunt than Sharapova, and almost as bad a temper as Marat. I guess she played pretty poorly at Roehampton, she lost in the 1st round and was in tears as she walked back to the locker room.

I don't follow the women's tour at all, sp is this tournament like an ISG in the ATP? Also is it a good ISG like Dubai or a bad one like Memphis or Kitz?

Thanks KFP. Any reason why it gives the score for Barte v Potgiete (6-0 6-2) at the top of the screen? (I'm trying to work out if the players on court really are Anne and Marion!)

Hmm I recognise the Anne K wiggle (while waiting to return serve) at the far end, so it must be her whatever the scoreboard says!

Josh, we can take this to be an equivalent if we take Tier Is as the equivalent of the Masters. The field is not as good as Dubai (that would be at tourneys like Eastbourne or Sydney) but definitely not as bad as Kitzy!

Steven, Gostanford is actually the sports site for Stanford uni and Barte plays for them. I don't know why they have the score there, though...

Not sure how she lost the last point in game 2, she seemed to hit a shot in that Bartoli didn't return then smack her 2nd serve ball away in disgust.
