Great news! Well done Alex. I'm so pleased for him after what has not been his best year. I hope this is the turnaround he's been aiming for and he goes on to better things. Same again next week.

i know he hasnt beaten the best opponents this week but it must still count as one of his best, his 2nd outdoor hard win and in conditions he personaly found tough.

considering the tough year he has had its great for him to get back to winning and proves he still has the ability, consdiering that 2 weeks ago the press etc were saying his funding should be cut blah blah this is a great repsone to all the critiscism he recieved and i just hope he can keep this level up.

the fact that the 4 sets he won in the semis and finals where tb shows that he isnt always a choker.

might be quite a bit to ask for him to do well in aptos, he must be knackered but must also be feeling good. he is travelling there now, i think he may have to play tomorrow. hopefully thye will give him a late match,
