htye lost 63 64. has got a 6.30pm match today in singles.
Does anyone else have trouble understanding the situation from that post? It could be the usage of the seldom-employed word "htye", but, assuming that meant "he" how come he has a match at 6:30 today if he lost?
I understood it count. RedCabbage obviously isn't so experience in Countish lol

anyone know anything bout lugassy? he doesnt seem to have done too much recently, bt a wc in the 1st rd then battled past bastl in the 2nd here. alex bt him in straights a couple of years ago.
no seeds left in this half cept for those 2 so a win here would leave a good chance of making the final (Widom who bt Go in 3rd set tb and Cook are the other 2)
the level Alex is getting back towards means each win moves you up a bit less, i think he'd need to reach the final to get close to the top 200, maybe even win it to secure a place back there.
nevertheless its an encourgaing start to the hard court season, and even though alex was seeded to bt both these guys its good to get the wins on the board, and start picking up the points again to contiune moving back up the rankings, i believe this is only the 5th time this year alex has put back to back wins together so lets hope its something he can contiune to do.

Good to see Alex winning these matches, although I'd be worried if he wasn't. He needs to take advantage of these relatively weak Challengers - a good chance to boost his self-belief.
Bogdanovic dances at Challenger Drops Polansky. Moving well on court after injuring back
Alex Bogdanovic has flirted with a spot in the top 100 in the ATP Tour rankings, but the 24-year-old from England said his goal this season is to stay healthy.
"At this time last year, I was playing in Newport and I injured my back," Bogdanovic said after he reached the quarterfinals of the $50,000 National Bank Challenger with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Canadian Davis Cupper Peter Polansky.
"I was playing (Danai) Udomchoke and I had these back spasms," said Bogdanovic, whose ranking has dropped from No. 108 to No. 237. "I had three or four months when I wasn't right. Now, I'm just trying to stay healthy and build my game back up."
There was nothing wrong with Bogdanovic's game last night as he kept Polansky off balance by moving the 20-year-old around the court.
"I know he has a big forehand and I was trying to move him around so he wouldn't be able to set up on the forehand," Bogdanovic said.
"I thought I played okay, but he was making some great returns and I was on the defensive for the entire match," Polansky said.
"It seemed that he returned everything I hit. After a while, I started going for some big shots and I was missing."
That proved costly in the eighth game of the first set when a double-fault and two unforced errors allowed Bogdanovic to break serve for a 5-3 lead.
Bogdanovic's serve was the key to his success. He served 10 games and lost only nine points.
"If he keeps playing like that, he can win the tournament," Polansky said.
But Bogdanovic said he didn't want to get ahead of himself.
"The courts are fast and they favour my game, but I have a tough match coming up (against third-seeded Gary Lugassy of France)," Bogdanovic said.

Sounds very promising, Bogoo is right Lugassy will be tough, but augurs pretty well for the summer and if the courts are suiting him, could be a big week for Alex.
Another good win for Boggo, and it looks like he's playing well this week, which is good to see, and this is a great chance for him to win a challenger when he's on form against a not so strong field.
Only dropping 9 points on serve is excellent as well, as if keeps serving like that he isn't going to be broken very often, so he can just concentrate on hitting big returns and hitting well off the ground.
Lugassy is a left hander, and a very good timer of the ball, but he has days where he is just horrible (eg. getting 1 and 2 games against Becker in successive weeks), and looking at his results for this year, he hasn' really beaten anyone in the top 200 (maybe 1 or 2 players), so isn't having a top time of it at all.
Boggo is the better player and should win, but that's always dangerous to say surrounding Boggo
