Looks like it's a Friday draw here, so Boggo and Baker already know who they've drawn, and there looks to have been a few late withdrawals as the cut went down to 396, and Boggo is the 5th seed, ignoring my projection for him to be seeded 8th here.
Boggo gets a qualifier in round 1, while Baker gets our old friend George Bastl.
They could both meet in the QF's, with Baker having 3rd seed Lugassay or a WC into round 2, and Boggo have Polansky or another Qualifier.
Qualifying is a bit stronger than I was expecting, with the top seed at 352 and 8th seed at 532, but Boggo shouldn't have any trouble against any of the players in the draw, so a great chance for him to reach the QF's here
L32: Jame Baker WR 268 v George Bastl (SUI) WR 290 L32: (5) Alex Bogdanovic WR 242 v (Q) Vincent Millot (FRA) WR 502
Bastl has beaten Bloomers in 3 sets this year and both won and lost against Boggo in straights. Jamie has played him once, in Doha qualifying 18 months ago, losing 4-6 7-6(7) 6-2 - I can't remember, but I assume he had match points in that match.
Millot, CH just outside the top 400, last played a Brit in 2006, beating Ross Hutchins in three sets. Before that, he had played David Sherwood twice in 2005, losing 1 & 1 one week and then beating him in three sets a week later.
Boggo plays singles and doubles tomorrow, I assume Jamie will play on Tuesday.

Well how count did a typo when e & m are so far apart on the keyboard I will never know. I was wondering who Elliot was (granted, I have never heard of Millot either). And I cehcked Lindahl and still got it wrong..
I think he'll win easily, and then I'd expect he'd be able to win his second match as well against Kindelmann/Polansky to reach the QF's, which would represent a reasonable week and get him to about 220, but I think he can probably go further than that if he has a good week
i hope he does win easily, then get to the qf's and even then would have a good chance of making the semis you feel, get some confidence back into his game.

sweet good win seems as though the grass court season helped him get some much needed confidence back in his game. Onwards and upwards from here hopefully!!
