RE: Week 27 - Winnetka Challenger [50K] - 2008.

This is a really great result considering he was in intensive care in hospital a couple of months ago.

I see no reason he can not go on to cause an upset in the second round considering how well he has been playing before the illness

That's an impressive result given how few matches he's had since his return......Sitak may lack a really big shot but he's extremely fast and gets everything back

well at least jamie got 1 win, Go was going to be tough, lets face it at his best jamie hasnt got a great record at players around this level so the 1st set is encourgaing to some degree, maybe just ran out of steam at the end. he hasnt played many matches yet, maybe the dubs was a mistake? or maybe he wants to try and get some games. hopefully a decent granby draw next week (i.e not boggo in the 1st rd please) and he can get another win or maybe more.

Never expected him to beat Soeda who is a solid top 150 player, but matching him for a set was a decent effort.

At least he got a win this week, and hopefully next week he can get a nice draw and record another win as he slowly starts to regain the form and fitness he needs to start challenging for titles again like he looked like he could before the illness.

Think he needs to be playing doubles as well, as even if he loses first round, it's still another hour of match practice, which is what he needs at the moment.
