When I was at Wimbledon i saw the Mixed entry list. Quite a few teams involving Brits signed in but didn't make the cut, although one that caught my eye was Spadea/Cavaday!

I think Spadea probably just wanted to give he crowd some excuse to cheer for him, Josh!

They are great pics, MJD, thanks for pointing them out. I even found myself on one - the one of Bloomers and Skups playing doubles on day 3 in near darkness. LOL

I can't believe I'm not on any of the photos, given how many of the matches they feature, I was actually there. I think I was on the same side as the camera on just about every one.

$64,000 question (& I readily admit I'm not sure the Beeb is set up to show matches on Court 3!):  will we get to see any of it! confuse.gif

Court 3 is a televised court, so I guess it will be available on the BBC website at the very least.... better hope for 2 very long matches to start the day on court 3 so that all the singles are finished on other courts so they show this as the 3rd match on the interactive coverage, or at the very least join it midway through the match.

The XD match though will surely be shown, and could well get moved to a show court (I think that would be the plan, but depends on how long the matches do go)

Hutchins/Keothavong beat the light and win the match 5-7 6-1 6-4

And are back in action in the fifth match on Court 3 tomorrow, unfortunately against the 6th seeds, Knowle & Chan (AUT/TPE)! pray.gif

Delgo & Katie are also in action in the fourth match on Court 17, again against a seeded pair, Andy Ram & Nathalie Dechy (ISR/FRA) (9).  We can but live in hope... please.gif

Delgado & O'Brien lost 4&0, while Hutch & Keothavong lost 4&4.

clap.gif Should be a happy Murray household tonight. smile It looks as though Jamie and Liezel are back on court tomorrow. Should be Court 2 and 3rd match against Knowle and Chan (AUT/TPE), who are seeded 6th. (They are the pair who beat Hutch and Anne in round 2).

Murray & Huber take the first set 6-4, breaking Knowle's serve at 5-4. 1-1 in second set.

They won 6-4, 6-3.

First set they were excellent, and they played well in the second, but Knowle/Chan upped their level a lot.

They had to save a few break points near the end as well, but had 4 chances to win the match before they took it.... the first 3 saved with excellent passing shots from Chan.

Murray/Huber lost 1 point on serve in the first set, which shows how well they played for it.

Good win for the pair over the sixth seeds to reach the QFs. thumbsup.gif  Only three more matches for them to win for Jamie to win defend his half of the title! wink
