The top story now reads "Moore wins in Frinton" but poor old Bloomers, in true "Norfolk is an island in the south Pacific, isn't it?" LTA style is relegated to a two line mention:
"Richard Bloomfield reached the final of the Manchester Trophy courtesy of two victories over the event's first and third seeds but fourth seed Bjorn Rehnquist proved too tough a challenge with the Swede winning 7-6 0-6 6-3."
Not much recognition for being only the second Brit to reach a Challenger Final this year and only the eighth Brit to reach more than one this century ...

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Also significantly they don't bother to mention Bloomer's other victory - over Chris Eaton, just imagine the headline if it had been the other way round!
But then as you say Richard is not British, is he? Fortunately over the years he has grown accustomed to this treatment, presumably because he has (with a few exceptions) paid for his own coaching, fitness coach (Pete Russell, Darcy Cumming, Jez Green) and travel since his junior days. (Perhaps he would have been better to have not been true Brit!)
spoke to slabba about the motomura match, after the skupski win he went down pretty bad with food poisoning and if Thursday hadn't been rained off, he probably would have pulled out before the match....as it was, he was struggling movement-wise and motomura played a great match, returned really well
