Eaton loses the first set 7-6. His serving deserted him in the crucial tie-break.

Eaton broken in the first game of the second set. He needs to serve better than this if he's to have a chance with a pure serve-volley game.

Chris has been a joy to watch so far. Serving and volleying on first and second serve every time. Brilliant stuff, performed much better than I expected

Eaton did well to force a break point but an inexperienced return on second serve blew it. Tursunov holds but Chris is getting back into this.

Double break as Eaton's serve disappears again. Smug git of an umpire called fault on Chris's second serve at break point down and was proven right by Hawkeye. He took great pleasure in announcing "Game Tursunov". Evil man.

Chris takes another game to deuce but is now 5-1 down. If he can get his serve consistent next set, he could start to create some problems.

The gap doesn't look like nearly 640 places...but it does look too wide for Eaton to bridge cry.gif He's not playing badly, he's just not good enough to beat Tursunov yet. And the Dima I hoped would show up (the complete muppet who can't find the court) simply isn't here. Still, no shame for Eaton he's keeping it closer than many players half his ranking would manage.
