The week 46 table is now up, with all of the weekend's results and draws plus the new official rankings. Anne has, as predicted, hit a new career high of 61, her exploits last week helping her to break into the top 70 for the first time.

Updated with new (17 Nov) official rankings - there are 7 new career highs among the GB top 25. I am unlikely to be able to show accurate OoP details for the Futures in India and Mauritius early in the week because results info for those tournaments can only be found on ITF, but it should be possible to start making educated guesses as to who is playing when once Tuesday's matches have been played.

I have just added a provisional table for week 48 (24-30 Nov) - it looks like up to 10 of the top 25 GB women could be in action, which makes it quite busy for a late November week. To access it, just go to the stats page, click the GB top 25 women link to get to the current week's page and then click the Following week's table link near the top right. I'll make "current" point to the week 48 table once the qualifying draws start coming out.

Week 50 GB women's table updated with new official (8 Dec) rankings, projections for the following Monday, this weekend's results and draws and Monday OoP.
The only women in the GB top 25 who are in action are Wobbly trying to qualify for the 25K in Prerov (also CZE) and Amanda Carreras who may be seeded in the main draw in this week's Spanish 10K.

Not a great week for women in the GB top 25 - four of them were in action, two in senior events and two in junior events, and they all went out at least two rounds before they were seeded to go out. Eek!
Wobbly trying to qualify for a 75K in Dubai will probably be the only one in action next week.

Week 52 table now added - there's a bit of a mystery as to why Jocelyn Rae has now lost her Sorrento points (the ones that were only added last week) when she doesn't appear to have broken any age eligibility rules - more on that on the Sorrento thread.
Edit: Turns out that a tournament counts towards the age eligibility limit for singles even if the player only scores points in doubles at that tournament, and that's what has caught Jocelyn out.

Week 53 table now added - there are no WTA or women's ITF tournaments this week, but I have used the whereabouts column to show where each player is due to start their 2009 campaign if they are on an entry list for one of the first three weeks of the year.
In addition, because the 2009 season is starting 53 weeks after the 2008 season started (instead of the usual 52) and points only stay on the rankings for 52 weeks, 2008 week 1 points (e.g. Auckland) will be coming off next Monday and I assume the remaining 2008 points will be doubled ready for the 2009 season too, so I've included those calculations on the table. However, so little information has been forthcoming that it's anybody's guess what will really happen!
The other stats that can be accessed through http://www.britishtennis.net/stats.html (e.g. 2008 movers, which now has a combined men's & women's table too) have been updated as well.

Mel will play Brisbane qualies, while Bally, Katie and Georgie will play either Auckland or Brisbane qualies. Mel could play either Hobart or Sydney qualies with no worries if she sneaks into AO main draw, the rest could play Hobart or Sydney too as qualies for AO only starts on Wednesday.
