RE: Week 25 - Wimbledon Qualifying

And she loses. Big learning curve this. Typical British though

Amanda a break down already. Shame about the performances of the British women this week around Europe as they have all been performing well but when the spotlight has come on them they all seemed to of crumbled.

I thought for a moment Tara was going to get an excellent win, but going from *4-3 to 4-6 just shouldn't happen, and also she played well throughout the match, it looks like a bad choke (combined with the 7-0 TB)

Just going to be a very disappointing day, especially if Elliott loses as well.

Amanda has certainly shown some fighting qualities over the last few weeks, often coming back from behind against higher ranked players. Now leading 6-5 after winning 5 in a row.

You're a harsh bunch. I expect Tara was out of gas by the end of her 2hrs 30min contest. A certain A. Murray couldn't last 2 hrs when he first started competing on tour. Match after match was decided by his lack of fitness.

I think with the exception of Naomi B and Anna F (who have the talent to beat their opponents on grass yet managed to implode), everyone else has done well.

Amanda won the first set tiebreak 7-0

I think Tara did brilliantly
It is just a shame she couldn't quite get over finish line

Now two breaks up in the 2nd, it's beginning to look hopeful.
