Jonny was holding increasingly comfortably as the set wore on without getting close on Kim's serve, is going to be really important to get ahead and not throw his serve away as it looks like a game of few breaks.

Philips 1-1 in the second, fighting hard.

I really want Jonny to win this - not just for the obvious reason, but also because, like Morgan, he's only got one point so far since he came back and he really needs to start getting back into the top 1000 and better so he can get into Futures without using up PRs.

Eaton hasn't started well, which is a disappointment as these courts should be perfect for him, and his opponent has no grass court pedigree at all

I guess that's the way the draw should work if only the favourites went through, there's a reason why most of our guys need wild cards!
