RE: Wimbledon Qualifying Tournament QR1

Yes, Eaton wins it 26 64 75

Seator's looked dead and buried for a while now and he's gone tamely 2 & 1.

Eaton wins 2-6, 6-4, 7-5!

Great win for him and at least he makes it 3 guys through to the 2nd round and we match last years effort. Thought he would win this, but he made it hard for himself but pulled through at the end.

Seator loses 6-2, 6-1

Didn't think he'd win, but was expecting a closer scoreline than that though

Easily the best result of the day beating a player some 500 places above him in the rankings

Will now play Jan Minar in the next round

Rochus-Elgin just finished so our last player, Dan Cox, should be on court soon.

Will all those who win today be playing 2nd round tomorrow, or do they save some 2nd round matches for wednesday?

Cox down 2-0cry

He's on the board now, but lost the first 4 games...

*4-1 Stadler isn't looking encouraging at the moment, but hopefully he can turn it around like Eaton did earlier

Hell of a game going on between Witten and Patience

Currently 11-11.
If I were into lame puns I would say that this is a game for those with Patience

And if I were into lame puns, I'd say they're probably at their Witten's end.

Looks like his Patience ran out and he decided to end it, winning 13-11 in the 3rd.

Playing 45 games is good practice for those 5-set matches in the main draw, anyway!

Cox loses the first 6-2.

And Patience's 13-11 was quite a short match for him, compared to what he has done at Wimbledon qualifying before.

Back in 2005 he lost in the first round to Chris Guccione 4-6, 7-6(3), 23-21!!!
