MAIN DRAW (and possible R2 draws for those not playing seeds in R1)
Miles Kasiri, who would have been seeded here, pulled out at the last minute and has been replaced by a lucky loser.
L32: Edward Corrie WR 1280 v (1) Ludovic Walter (FRA) WR 483 L32: (Q) Timothy Patient UNR v (6) Navdeep Singh (IND) WR 776 L32: David Brewer WR 923 v (Q) Timothy Bradshaw WR 1586 (winner likely to play (4) Valentin Sanon (CIV) WR 549) L32: (Q) Mathew James UNR v (WC) Colin O'Brien (IRL) WR 1456 (winner to play winner of the next match) L32: (Q) Jonny Kinsella WR 1246 v (5) Nima Roshan (USA) WR 582 L32: Maniel Bains WR 1057 v John McGahon (IRL) WR 904 (winner likely to play (7) Sadik Kadir (AUS) WR 782) L32: Edward Allinson WR 1070 v Alex Miotto WR 1443 (winner likely to play (3) Ashutosh Singh (IND) WR 540) L32: (Q) Christopher Harfield UNR v (8) James Cluskey (IRL) WR 825 L32: Sean Thornley WR 993 v Ivan Vukovic (CRO) WR 1145 (winner to play winner of the match above) L32: (Q) Kyle Brassington WR 1179 v (Q) Burnham Arlidge UNR (winner likely to play (2) Michel Koning (NED) WR 523)
At first sight, the draw hasn't worked out too well for our chances of getting anyone deep into it, with the stronger Brits tending to get the worst draws. But still, we will get at least 3 points here, and who knows what might happen if, say, Kinsella can get through R1 ...

The doubles draw is interesting in the fact that Kinsella plays with Bradshaw and Brassington with Harfield. Now we know Kinsella & Brassington train together due to CourtCrazy's posts when they were in Canada. Also Harfield & Bradshaw seem to travel around together, and were in Canada at the same time. Maybe they all train together in Leeds?
Not a great draw with the best player in the qualifying (Kinsella) getting a nightmare draw, while good chances for Brewer, Allinson, Thornley and Brassington to get points, but I'd like to see Burnham get his first point.
Tough draw for James against O'Brien as he is seriously underranked and possibly was the most impressive player I saw in Exmouth qualifying - he's got a huge serve and will serve/volley so it will be tough for James to beat him
L32: Edward Corrie WR 1280 lost to (1) Ludovic Walter (FRA) WR 483 by 5 & 4 (but closer than expected!) Congrats to Burnham. I had counted yesterday and I saw that he had played SIXTY FIVE (fast counting, so one or two here or there) tourneys before he got this reward.
Great to see Burnham finally get his point and I hope he enjoys it as fought so hard to get it - well done to him and hope he goes on in the tournament.
A nice win for Miotto (what's he been up to this year?), but a fantastic win for Jonny which I had a feeling he would get and it's possible he could beat O'Brien as well if he keeps up this form. He's picking the events well as he's only going to get wins on fast surfaces, and when the event is weak he's done well.
Next week's event looks frighteningly strong though, so chance of points will be limited.
L32: (Q) Timothy Patient UNR beat (6) Navdeep Singh (IND) WR 776 by 4-6 6-4 6-3 and another Brit gets on the rankings, great result! L32: David Brewer WR 923 beat (Q) Timothy Bradshaw WR 1586 by 4 & 4 L32: Maniel Bains WR 1057 lost to John McGahon (IRL) WR 904 by 7-6(3) 6-4 L32: (Q) Christopher Harfield UNR lost to (8) James Cluskey (IRL) WR 825 by 1 & 0 L32: Sean Thornley WR 993 beat Ivan Vukovic (CRO) WR 1145 by 4 & 3
L16: (Q) Timothy Patient UNR v Baptiste Bayet (FRA) WR 1280 L16: David Brewer WR 923 v (4) Valentin Sanon (CIV) WR 549 L16: (Q) Jonny Kinsella WR 1246 v (WC) Colin O'Brien (IRL) WR 1456 L16: Alex Miotto WR 1443 v (3) Ashutosh Singh (IND) WR 540 L16: Sean Thornley WR 993 v (8) James Cluskey (IRL) WR 825 L16: (Q) Burnham Arlidge UNR v (2) Michel Koning (NED) WR 523
Just realised that I didn't update the main draw with 16 June rankings - I'll sort that out later this evening.

Well done to Brewer and Thornley for getting another point, but well done to Patient especially for getting his first point, and a great win to get it as well over a seeded player.
This is turning out to be great event so far for our players (is it wrong to say some of the boys in Wimbledon qualifying should have the easy points here instead?)
Think Thornley and Kinsella will make the QF's here, but hope the other 4 can cause an upset
