Yes, the same for me, Mervatron.

To be very honest, Broady, Tara and Robson deserve unconditional wild cards into the qualies draw, no matter what they do here (although they shouldn't be told about that from before!). I've never understood why we shy away from giving young players a chance at the big stage - it's only qualies, so there's no spotlight, chances of shattered confidence etc. Someone like Robson could gain a lot if she played there.

I wonder why Konta isn't here! She withdrew from the tournament she was supposed to play in Germany and I thought it was because of this. Maybe she has one as it is?

From Jamatthews's post on GBTG:

Well done, Heather!smile.gif

According to 'scottish' on GBTG, these are the final round (well, final round of direct importance) results:

Anna Smith beats Naomi Broady
Liz Thomas beats Tara Moore

cry.gif for both.

I hope Naomi and Tara get WCs anyway - it'll be unfair if Tara doesn't and disgraceful if Naomi doesn't.

Yes I was just coming on to post those I'd heard same results. I'm delighted that Anna Smith has got through I like her, pretty feisty girl I think.

From what Draper's said, there is no chance of just handing out WC's to those that miss out, he says that's against the whole point of the play off.

Seeing as the suspected mole was actually playing at the time my snout managed to sneak scores out from under the LTA's noses you will have to try a bit harder than that!

I'm thinking suspected mole's coach ... or a mutual friend from Sheffield down there watching.

One of the women playing there?

Edit: scrap that - there must be a link to Jonny because his were the only scores you had every time.

That could be a trick to throw us off the scent, though. cry.gif Maybe it's Anna Smith and this way no one will suspect her to be the 'culprit'.

Anyway, a big thanks to all the insiders who helped us - otherwise we would be staring at an empty drawsheet even now.

biggrinbiggrin but the big question is, is she as fragrant as Melissa Berry? (long-memory-for-trivia R us wink

Seriously though, thanks to the mole(s), whoever he/she/they is/are, as Greenleaf just said (and I've just clicked through from my table to check), we'd still be looking at a blank drawsheet without them.

Not as fragrant or maybe quite as immediately aesthetically pleasing but a good deal better player.

There you go Ive managed to insult my two favourites in sentence, no wonder I never could pull.
