Yes, Bellucci had played just the one match on grass as a Junior - in Wimbly 2004, where he lost to Kamil Capkovic in straights.
Boggo's section seems to be good, I think. He has beaten Falla before (at Mons?) and Kunitsyn is supposed to be poor on grass. Meh... let us hope that Smethurst and Coupland will somehow take them out before he does!
So much for our theory about Bloomers having said no to a main draw WC here so he wouldn't miss Wimby Q. I hope he doesn't get to the FQR here and end up getting 0 or 5 points and missing Wimby Q as well.
Eaton & Cox are in the same boat of course, but they are unlikely to win more than a match (if that) at either event, so they might as well enter both and hope they get a lucky draw in one of them.

luckily the lta cancelled most of the home events so its less of a shambles for them to run into each time.
So true
I'm thinking of getting my Eastbourne wild card application in early as I think I have a decent chance of receiving one, as I won't be top 250 and so a WC to Wimbledon, won't have made the draw by rights, and won't be playing in Wimbledon qualifying so will be able to play the event.
Plus, they can't resist giving a WC to the local boy so boost the numbers of the spectators (given that I'll still be in Eastbourne this time next year as I'll still have a lease on the house I'm living until the end of June).
