Have the LTA really not considered this????????????????????? ----------------------------------------------------------------
I really hope British tennis players aren't so weak-minded that they can't handle losing a tournament and have to re-word the concept of a tournament to make everyone a winner. Perhaps they should hand out medals for those who try hard.
Jonny plays Dan Evans not before 4 today. Dan Is on at Queens at 12 and then over to Aorangi for the WC play off by 4!
Been told that the only wc's that have definitely been given out are for Boggo and Baker into the MD, but more to follow as people see how the guys perform this week.
i think wimby/aeltc will give Ward one at least after yesterday. but if the lta stuck to their guns then they only recommended jamie and alex. will see how rich does today.
is the play off for a qualies wc? surely jonny deserves one of those

I think you can assume that those not in the draw are at least going to get wc's into Qualies. I would hope that James Ward and Goodall would have done enough to get a main draw WC, Bloomers too for qualifying for Queens, but we should know pretty soon.
Assume Slabba will get a qualies WC.
Yes would agree that Jonny should get a one for qualies and Morgan Philips given the time they've been out, but we'll have to see how they do.
Agree with you on Jonny. Looking purely at the numbers, Morgan's only got as high as 558 in the world, with most of those points obtained on clay, so I'm not convinced he should jump the queue for a qualies WC.
