Haha, i'm quaking in my boots about a bt.net initiation ceremony that will surely end up with me being walloped with tennis rackets.

I'm training it to London Paddington (because i'm scared about finding my way around London and i feel moderately safe in Paddington!) and then i'll get the tube. I should be there for around 10ish. I'm going to be unbearingly excited by the way about the tennis, just to give fair warning..

you do realise that i live in paddington dont you!

its a bit of a pain to get from paddington to queens, they way i have done it in the past is take the bakerloo line (the brown one - they had to didnt they) to baker street, change and take the jubillee line (grey) to Green Park change and take the picadilly line (dark blue) to barons court.

alternativly take the circle line (yellow) from paddington round to glocuester road then take the picadilly or district (green) line to barons court, or take the district line from paddington to earls court and charge there for the picadilly/disticrt.

i normally go the 1st route as the circle and distcit lines can be quite slow and unreliabale (well they are all unreliable, but those 21 more so. lucky we dotn have togo anywhere nearthe northern line)

Thanks count, if you hadn't have given me that step by step guide i would never have been able to navigate my way round the maze of the underground!

Good thing i didn't slag off paddington then or else i'd have you on my back all saturday!

no probs, i'll pm you my mobile in a min so if you run in to problems just give me a call/text.

also i should have mentioned fi you prefer you can just take the bakerloo line to picadilly circus and change there and take the picadilly line to barons courts, obvouisly means just 1 chnage and to be honest looking at it now it might be a bit quicker.

hmmm I'd be on your guard if I was you.....that Count is a ruthless gangland leader and ringleads the local horde of hoodies.......as you can see from his mugshot on page 1.......most of the area stays well clear when Mr Z is in town

I'd try and butter him up early if I were you

Well, I managed to avoid Sheddie during the DC at Wimbledon, but Queens is a bit smaller, so it may be more difficult this time...

thanks for the tube routes Count, highly helpful for when I attempt the same journey on Monday morning.

I never realised Paddington held such dangers for the unsuspecting traveller. I feel very lucky to have travelled through with no hint of danger so many times before, now I'm aware of the problems I'll have to be more prepared...Count, will you grant me safe passage if I promise to hand over information about the leader of the rival gang, the Sheds?

You lot have fun though
