The top seed in qualifying out of those on the original entry list (there's a ringer seeded 1) was below Kyle on the Alt list, so Kyle has either joined the Wardinator as a DA or didn't turn up for qualifying.

It was still a close result against the no. 2 seed, a player just outside the top 500, so it's clear he's more than capable of mixing it in Futures main draws - that'll do for now as long as he keeps improving.
