These boys should easily make the main draw again this week.

Are we looking at hard or clay courts for this event?

They're both in the main draw which is the good news, so we'll ignore Rice's loss and Milton's struggle.

Usually it's disappointing to see Brits play each other, but the good news is that 1 of them will get a ranking point, which better than nothing

Both struggled to get in, but who cares! These two haven't ever played each other internationally even though they've played in the same tournament on countless occasions.

I'd pick Rice to win, given that he has a far better clay record (although I read that Milton has a better clay game, hmm).

Match is played Wednesday....also 4 LL spots in the main draw...not down to the draw not being filled but due to withdrawls. Is that a record ?

I think you'll find the French Open had 7! But that was in a 128 draw made two days before play was due to start.

Last year in Rotterdam there were 4 lucky losers, and I'm sure there's been other events with this as the case.
