RG R2: Andy Murray (GBR) [10] vs José Acasuso (ARG)

If Andy doesn't do something to up his game against Acasuso compared with his performance in his match against Eysseric today, then I fear the worst on Tuesday...! weirdface

I think we will see a different game plan from Andy this time...one which will see him win in 4 !

This will really be a step up......

Acasuso's a proper clay specialist with a massive, massive serve and a huge forehand....Andy will need to return well and try to dictate play or he'll simply be blown off court

The positives: Boggo played a superb game against Acasuso in the DC in February, only losing 7-5, 7-5 and had enough chances to have won himself in straight sets. The Argentine was forced to play to his best, Boggo played good attacking tennis, painting the lines off both sides and would have won if a few key pts had gone his way. If Andy plays in a similar way he should win given
he's a better returner than Boggo

Also, Acasuso hasn't had a great clay season so far....he had an easy rd1 today against the woefully out of form Domnik Hrbaty who's won just 1 or 2 matches since last July

Anyone found a link to a 'real' draw diagram ?  The segmented mess that is on offer is a real pain with no overview of the competition IMHO !  Grrr....

Match to be played on Wednesday according to Eurosport.

Kevthetim - I watched the tennis in France yesterday on www.eurosport.fr but had to subscribe. OK for me as I am there often with no TV. However, they switched to the Italian Giro just before Andy's match but I then managed to catch it using info supplied on a thread for the match with Eysseric for the Tennis Channel. I'll look that up and post it here. It didn't seem to work for everyone but it did for me. Annoyingly they blacked out the match from 3-0 up in the 4th set. Luckily it was back on eurosport.fr by then. Don't know if the Tennis Channel will work again but worth a try at the time.

Copied from Round 1 thread:

Ok guys, go to Tools, Internet Options, Connections and click on Lan Settings

Tick the proxy server box and enter 137.164.143.112 in the address box and 80 in the port.

Then go to http://video.tennischannel.com/schedule.jsp

create an account

and watch a choice of courts for free in perfect quality!

There is a decent JustinTV stream going around that I can post here when the match takes place. No idea whether they will be showing Andy's match though

Please post it, John. Normally JustinTV streams don't require much bandwidth so that's all I can use (I use it for the MLS) on my 256k connection.

Andy is 4th match on Court 3. Is that even a televised court?

Arka, this JustinTV link was working for me the other day mate. No idea what matches it will be showing tomorrow, they were showing Baggy-Bolelli when I put it on the other day which I believe was Court 2, so they don't just show Chatrier which is a positive. Are you not getting it on TV over there?

Big thanks, John! Yes, they're showing it here but it's always good to have a wider choice of matches.
