Whilst looking at one of the sites showing statistics for 2008, I noticed the following information in the surface leaders section that I thought was worth a mention (with apologies if any of this has been written about before)
For WTA major events:
Carpet - no 1 Anne Keothavong 4-0
For WTA Challengers:
Overall - no 1 Anne K 26-14, no 6 Mel South 23-13 Hard - no 3 Mel South 13-6, no 5 Anne K 12-9 Indoor hard - no 1 Elena Baltacha 10-0 Carpet - no 4 Mel South 7-4, no 8 Anne K 5-0
lovely as that is surely it can't possibly be right, Anne hasn't won any WTA major events so she can't be on 0 losses. Unless I'm being silly (very possible/probable - I don't claim to follow women's tennis all that closely).
