Interesting to see that more people are favouring Djokovic and even Davydenko than federer. Who voted for Andy??

M.Lopez Jaen hasn't been bagelled yet, he's taken the first set to a tiebreak against dancevic

I think the schedulers have been very unfair. One of the principles I think they apply at Wimbledon is that if they are scheduling matches from both halves of the draw on a day when rain is threatened then they complete one half first before moving on to the other.

Today we had just 17 remaining mens matches in the bottom half, yet they have contrived to play several matches from the top half, whilst leaving the likes of Rafa in the position of having to play on 2 consecutive days. It could easily have been avoided by scheduling those 17 within the first 2 matches on any court So for example Philippe Chatrier should have had Venus fb Rafa fb Amelie fb Robredo instead of Robredo fb Venus fb Rafa fb Amelie

Completely agree, it was a shocking bit of scheduling given that they must have known there was a possibility of rain.

Yes, very clever from Nole I thought, taking care to lose a game per set to avoid unleashing the 'coaster.

I bet Rafa was chuffed that Nole, in the same half of the draw, got to finish his R2 match about the same time that he (Rafa) got to finish R1 ...

While not in the same league of player, while Djokovic was shaking hands with Lopez-Jaen to progress into round 3, Clement and Monfils were in the opening set of their round 1 match...

True. They must take after Wimby's habit of making sure their scheduling screws the home players as often as possible.

Times I can get very interested in doubles ... example 1:

When Hutch & Huss are playing no. 4 seeds Bhupathi & Knowles in R1 of the French Open and are serving for the first set! smile
