Blandin's 13-match Brit-bashing streak streak was emphatically ended by Dan Cox, who allowed him just one game in R1 of the Newcastle Future. List updated.

John McEnroe almost went through his career unbeaten against Brits. He won 21 consecutive matches (including one walkover), before losing in the last match he ever played against a Brit (Jeremy Bates). Borg lost a few more matches against Brits, but did manage a run of 17 straight wins (including one walkover).
Doesn't Borg's run of 16 wins (excluding the walkover) qualify him for the table - or was my analysis wrong?

Yes it does, that's one we hadn't noticed before - I'll add it.
Also, I've just realised that Samuel Groth's victory over the Wardinator in Nottingham qualifying at the weekend has given him his second 11-match Brit-bashing streak - it's now the longest ongoing BBS and he's won 22 of his last 23 matches against GB players. Another streak it would be nice to end this week, don't you think?
Btw I hadn't realised that Borg lost all of his last 14 matches - no wonder he retired!

Wow, yes, 14 GEM bashes on the trot since he lost to Tsonga at the AO last year if you ignore the w/o he gave Dammit in Dubai - 12 up to then if you don't.

Just realised this list needs to be updated after a few of the top Brit(on)-bashers have been in action over the last couple of weeks.
Samuel Groth has increased his ongoing BBS to 16 matches, which places him 4= on the all-time (that we know of) list, equal with Bjorn Borg and Stéphane Robert's longest streak - Groth has won 27 of his last 28 matches against our boys.
The Slovakian BB record is now being keenly contested by two annoying players too - last week, Kamil Capkovic increased his BBS to 10 matches, all in straight sets (!), and by beating four of our players in the last two weeks, Andrej Martin's BBS has jumped to 8 matches since Josh Goodall beat him on 20 March 2008 - it will extend to 9 matches and 2 years unless the Wardinator stops him today.
On the plus side, since this last was last updated, Muzza has extended his GEM-bashing streak (in matches where both players took to the court, i.e. ignoring the w/o he gave Dammit Gasquet in Dubai 2009) to 19 matches.

GEM = garlic-eating malingerer, i.e. French players, or as jaydu on AM.com recently rechristened it after shameful showings from Dammit Gasquet, le Monf et ses copains in Indian Wells, 'guaranteed early muppetry'

I saw PEM being used for Almagro the other day, I hadn't been aware of a Spanish equivalent
Paella-eating malingerer.
I'll leave you guess the meanings of a HEM (clue: Muzza might become one if he loses to the Sod tonight), a BEM (Duckboy, Isner, etc) and a VDM (Kolya, Safin, etc) ...
