I think the term "Boggotard" appeared after Bogdanovic had many votes in MTF's "player of the year" poll,

Richard failed to qualify, losing 4-6 4-6 no chance of LL either as no 3 also lost.

He is in doubles on Tuesday but has drawn no 1 seeds!
Kuznetsov & Pless [USA/DEN, 1] vs. P. Amritraj & Bloomfield [IND/GBR]

But my reporter says Bloomfield is friendly, well, at least one plus in a sea of minuses.

Nathaliia's reporter (Tobi) also said -

" Bogdanovic came to site with coach Brad Gilbert in the morning, which caused some buzz at the club, they had two hours of training."

"Frederik Nielsen d. Richard Bloomfield 64 64
......... This was on court 1 at the same time; I didn't watch it very closely, but since the two courts are close to each other I had a look at both. Richard who is a very cool guy, has a good serve and he tried to come to net in this match; he used his one handed BH for a good effect, but this happened very rarely. It was 64 64, but Nielsen was never in trouble in his service games; I believe one break per set was good enough for the win, he wasn't bothered much. ........"

Neither Alex or Rich (Dbls) in action on Monday

I wonder what Brad thinks about 'slumming it' at challenger events?
Quite a climb down from ATP!

Watched him a Queens qualies last year. Good solid player big serve and groundstrokes but nothing spectacular. Hense his ranking never jumping all that high. I would say a fully confident Bloomers would have beaten him.

Disappointing to see Bloomers lose, and although I hope he gets in as LL, I don't see that happening, and even if he does, I don't think he'll win a match.

Bloomers doesn't seem to quite by all there at the moment and is struggling a little bit, but hopefully a good run on the grass can get his confidence going again

Surely he can't have lost that badly to Bastl? (he says, rather forlornly)

I wonder what Brad has to say to that?
