RE: Alexander Ward - Nickname.

So in his academy they call him wardinator, we have to respect this, so wardinator is my vote

Welcome Burton. smile.gif This thread is certainly attracting new members, if nothing else! smile.gif

I think the problem with Wardinator is that it's quicker to write Alex Ward than that and we're looking for a short form, not a longer one.

im another guy from his academy and he has had wardinatorbiggrin for so long now so this has to be it. Wardy can be the shortened version when theres no possibility of getting confused with James.

Although I'm very new here I don't think you can give him another nickname than he already has. If his mates at the academy call him the Wardinator it's good enough for me.

I didn't and although it's not my preferred choice, I now think you have to respect the nickname by which he's already known so would change my vote. That's 1 less for A-ward and 1 more for Wardinator then.

I'm finding it fine calling him the Wardinator despite the length, so I'm happy to switch my vote too. With goldfish, that makes it 12-11 to his real nickname.

Anyone else finding it amusing that 29 people have thought this is worth voting on? biggrin
