Good win for Ken!

Tough draw there for Boggo as Zverev is a serve/volleyer so his game should make the transition to grass, however he hasn't been in the richest vain of form as of late so there's always a chance. And all things considered that's a good draw for Goodall and a great one for Slabba.

I saw Zverev at Wimbledon last year (played Nalby if I remembering right person) and he wasnt a serve volleyer at all.

Oh really, I must have learnt that from a rather uninformed source. So what would you say Boggo's chances are against him?

They'll probably run out of time today. 4pm was the 'not before time' for the start of the Ladies FQR and that would appear to be an hour or so off at least on most courts based on the last update.  It's a dreary old day so the light will become difficult.

Since beating Kohli and Pics in Rotterdam, Zverev has only won 3 of his last 16 matches, admittedly mainly at ATP level.

Boggo does have good memories of the one time they played too - he came back from a set down against Zverev to win the Final of the Shrewsbury Challenger in 2006!

(so Boggo has beaten the two top seeds here the last time he played them, yet look what's happened to their relative rankings since ...)

Evans has lost to Jamie Baker in USO qualifying and to Ken Skupski on grass in the last 12 months.

Well done Bloomers, it would have been such a waste of potential points if Del had beaten him given that Del's not serious about singles any more.

Well done to Edward for taking a set, I really didn't think he would, since he doesn't tend to play the fast surfaces much.

Come on Kinsella! smile.gif
