I believe that spectators aren't allowed into the NTC tomorrow......but good news is that Dan and I have media accreditation for the day to cover play for this site and have use of the press room so can attend interviews etc

Dan will also be able to cover for us if any more play is held there for rest of this week.....

Many thanks to Joe for giving me the contact details, cya there tomorrow !

Yes glad to help out, and also happy you got your pass. I remember how difficult and awkward things were without passes regarding scheduling, travelling etc. And afterall, you are one of the few sites covering Surbiton so you do deserve to have entrance. Just a shame spectators aren't allowed in. As this site seems to have many dedicated followers.

I'm sure we will find out more tomorrow; What do you think will happen? Change back after a round, or continue using the indoor/outdoor courts even if the weather is good?

Easy enough - just go to the bottom of an individual section and sort on views. Virtually all the most viewed threads are in the men's section, and the others in the list are there because they get updated regularly, so a quick look down the recent posts pages will pick them up.

there were 4 Brits in qualifying for that tourney and we did score updates all day long, Marray made it to main draw in the end....was same day as Boggo's semi in Mons so masses of activity on the site

laughing.gif impressive. Though I think that might come from the era when the 'views' count was just the first page. Sorry that makes it's less fun :(

Great news about the media passes...maybe one of you can ask about the reasoning behind moving to outdoor hard...though possibly wise to leave that till the end of the week so you don't scupper any chances to come back the next day wink.gif

i wonder what mr marcos feels about this. he enters the event for grass court practice and gets made to play on hard.

as for the tournmanet they attract a top 20 player and former gs finalist and screw it up!!

I'm pretty sure that weather permitting play will change back to surbiton grass for Thursday. Its what they usually did for the Manchester challenger

I think the only reason NTC grass courts aren't being used is because there's so many matches they need around 7 courts and it would be strange to have half matches on hard and half on grass

This could only happen in the UK LOL what an affair !

The LTA are not bad with us and not surprised that you got passes.

I have a mobile number for Chris if you dont have it David / Dan.

Which one of you have the brass neck to ask Boggo if he felt he improved under Gilbert and why the change to Lundgren LOL !!!

Have a great day and hope the sun shines !!!!

steven, talking of stats, how about letting am.commers come to this thread to find the scores ? would make our hits count even more impressive if LTA check this thread out

if they do you might want to delete that post Sheddie! laughing.gif

Disappointed for Eaton. Fancy beating Ward and still not getting any points!

Slabba may profit from the court change but sadly all other Brits will suffer from it I'm afraid.

Enjoy your press accreditation lads! clap.gif

And those covers you see in the picture are the covers they use on the two main courts.... and yes.... there are being held to the courts with traffic cones and folding chairs - the very height of technology!

I'm guessing that picture was taken before 11am as it was brighter than that when I arrived, although only slightly, while it improved a great deal around 12ish.
