So, JWT (14) couldn't get out of jail a second time: "Sods" has just done for him 2 & 5, which means seven seeds have now bitten the dust (Blake (7) - beaten by Tipsy - Gasquet (8), Berdych (9), Youzhny (10), Robredo (13) & PHM (16)), nine, if you include Rodders (6), who withdrew before the tournament got under way, & "Alma-grow" (as I once heard him referred to on a BBC News 24 sports bulletin! ), who was promoted to 17th seed after he did so!
Andy is provisionally at 12 in the rankings now and a win here takes him above Berdych. Seedings for FO are based on positions at the end of this event
I've got 3/11 in the ATP bracket challenge today, which shows just how crazy a "Revenge of the Muppets" day (e.g. Safin & Kiefer winning) it's been. I'm down about 1000 places, but if I had got 4/11, I'd have moved up on the day, so it must have been pretty bad for most people.
