Hutch is on the books here, in dare I say, the doubles. He's partnered by Stephen Huss and they are seeded 4. The first match is against Greul and Kamke (GER). Unfortunately, they are in the same half of the draw as the Rati-Thais.

Yet another partner for Ross! It would be nice to see him back in a "settled (professional) relationship" after the break-up with Goody! I'm sure that would give his career the boost it needs. Still, he could do worse than Huss, but how long will that last...?!!
I guess the problem with finding a permanent doubles partner is that you need to almost try out a few to find one who suits. Actually permanent partnerships seem to be reserved for the very top guys, and even there you see movement. He doesn't seem to be doing terribly without a permanent partner so I don't think we need to despair just yet

You're correct there imoen. It was in Valencia where they had the misfortune to meet the top seeds in round 1. Resulting in a 3-6 2-6 loss. Let's hope for better this time round.
I presume they will play their first round match tomorrow: the only doubles match in today's OoP is the one involving the "Rati Thais" & Agamov/Haupt (UZB/GER). Booty & Fish are through to the QFs.
Hutch & Huss are in the third match on the centre court tomorrow, after two singles encounters, the first of which kicks off at noon BST...
I do believe they have won this, the score is given as 3-6 4-4 but no retirement indicated ( not as yet anyway). They are on tomorrow's OoP second match on centre court v Junaid and Marx so...

I've just been trying to make sense of that! Even paid a visit to the site, but it's not exactly hot on posting up-to-the-minute results in the doubles (surprise, sur-bloody-prise! ) & I didn't think to check the OoP! Looks hopeful, though...
