Very surprised not to see Boggo and Goodall playing in India again as it doesn't make a lot of sense for them to only go for the 1 week and then fly back to probably lose in round 1 of qualies on the clay when it would have been a reasonably easish field to pick up some points

Hope Ward does go to Fergana with Slabba as that will have a very weak qualifying draw and so he should get the 3 points for qualifying at the very least and then would have a decent chance of winning a match, while Slabba must be looking to win a match as well

Agree it seems a strange move. I'm sure James will go to Fergana as he is in Poland the week before.

i wonder if they have bene told they must play slam qualies? also as i pointed out else where, the potential points and money is much greater there.

In 2006 and 2007, the final cut was 253 and 250 respectively. That looks like bad news for both Boggo and Josh but if the list going down to Gensse at 249 is the original list, it means the original cut is much lower than in either of those years, when it was below 230 and those in 18th and 20th place on the Alt lists got in, which looks a lot more hopeful!

You'd expect the 5 French Wild Cards to go to players in that qualifying list which would put Goodall to 5th alternate - I think he'll get in in the end, although I'd think he'll lose in round 1

Ward has withdrawn from Kuwait F1 as well which is disappointing seeing how weak the field is, but I'd be looking for Bloomers, Skupski and Kasiri to have a good week
