I see that the thought of having to get all those AM.commers into line has already made you lose the plot. If you've read comments there like the classic "Actually that was Boggo losing not to bad considering what he has lost like" and (re pick 'em) "Just shows that you need possibly most of the matches to go your way" (quite!), then feelings of trepidation are understandable. Awww ...
You'll probably get twice as many replies as this in 10 minutes on there though!

Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
I'm sorry I couldn't let you guys know about Jamie's condition sooner. I was asked by Jamie and Keith to keep this very private. It was a serious time and all of our prayers have and will continue to help Bakerboy. Once I feel and have been told its ok to discuss things, I'll try. I told Jamie about all of the support you guys give him and he really appreciates it.
Hi TBar, don't worry, I'm sure we're all well aware how difficult a time it must have been and why they wouldn't have wanted the rest of the world to know at that stage. It must be really difficult even now not knowing what the long term effects might be.
I assume you haven't got an address for Jamie that we would send the card to (I'm pretty sure I can find a way to get it to him, but any more definite info, even if only in a pm, would be helpful) - it's really where he is next week that's the issue.
If you don't know, or don't feel that you can say, no problem - I have a couple of sources who are likely to know or know someone who knows and can therefore ensure it gets to him at some point.

if you want to email me any regards to jamie, i'll make sure to pass them on to him. i have his home addy, but prefer not to give it out..im sure you can understand.
That's fine, we just want to send him a real card, if you see what I mean. I think we can probably do it through the LTA and/or by working out where he's rehabilitating at the time.

Just thought I'd bump this up again. If anyone else wants to go on the card, please let me know by the end of Thursday, 8 May. I haven't been able to do anything about it this weekend because of pick 'em, so I'll sort it out at the end of this week.

This is the absolute last call for anyone who wants to add their names - I know where to send the card to now (or will when I get the exact address confirmed by email later this afternoon) so I will be putting the card in a postbox either this evening or tomorrow morning.
The guy I spoke to was understandably not keen to say much to a stranger calling out of the blue, and I didn't want to pry, but if I got any impression, it was that things are going as well as could be expected. (even if none of us know what 'expected' is!)
