According to ITF, if my interpretation of it's right, Nicola lost the first set 7-5, but was 5-3 up in the second when play was stopped for the day yesterday.

In the doubles, partnered by Vazirani, she went out in the first round.

Nicola won the interrupted game, but went out to the third seed in round 2.

R1: MOONEY, Nicola (GBR)  beat TERASAWA, Chika (JPN) LL  5-7 6-3 6-1 smile
R2: MOONEY, Nicola (GBR) lost to YU, Min-Hwa (KOR) 3 cry
