Ward, Seator, Kasiri & Skupski have definite DAs and it is anyone's guess who will get the WCs, though Morgan Phillips and Jamie Feaver (whom I guess won the British Tour event, since the other finalist Illingworth is in the Q draw) seem like shoe-ins, surely.

I've been struggling with a bruised hand recently so probably wouldn't have been able to play anywhere near my best with it and so would have probably got completely thrashed anyway.

But I did make an effort to play this event, although a late one. After picking up a racquet and having a brief knock-about on a court this afternoon I decided that it was probably okay enough to give the event a go and so tried to sign-in by phone, but from 3pm onwards no-one answered any of the phone numbers that are listed as contacts, and there was no answer from the place where the event is taking place, so obviously couldn't sign-in.

The other WC's... possibly Evans and Willis as they aren't in the draw and were signed up to play the event

Well Jag Sagoo still hasn't had a wildcard after winning the Corby British Tour, but I think he's pretty much a shoe in to get through them first 2 rounds of qualifying.

Sorry to hear about your hand, FD. It seems crazy that you couldn't get through on the phone - no wonder they don't have a full qualifying draw!

They seem to have managed to play QR1 but only half of QR2 today, I wonder if it rained in Bournemouth. Anyway, results just coming ...

I presume it has been raining; Im in Bristol and we had an absolutely torrential downpour around mid-afternoon, so its more than possible that Bournemouth was hit by similar weather.

Wow. I thought that Cox would double bagel his opponent but he lost a set between two bagels!
