and smeets is seeded, if he cna get into the smeis would be great, be moving his rnaking upwards again finally.
also a chnace to get revenge as both pless and smeets bt him recently.
also i think its a good idea for al to take a break, esp if he has a good week. although he hast bene winning matches he has been working hard and that wears you out.
edit bohli has had an easy run, okun retired, and he got a qualfier who bt a wc hopefully boggo can shock him!
as JL says go Ogani :)

Um Count...you know how optimistic I am?...well, I'm afraid even I don't believe that will happen. I'm sorry. It's not that I don't think Boggo could do it, it more that for him to have a winning streak from here to the wimby final he'd have to qualify for and win the French Open and I don't think anyone's ever done that. And, again I say, it's not that I don't think Boggo could do it. It's just the odds are rather stacked against him, if it wasn't on clay then of course, no question...anyway, just thought I should warn you. I'd hate you to be completely crushed when (sorry if) it doesn't happen like that.

I wonder if this tournament will mark the end of the slide down the rankings and the start of the climb back up.
Is that a swallow? - Must be summer then.
Whilst Boggo's success is welcome (and overdue), lets not read too much into it.
I didn't mean "will this mean Boggo's going to start winning most of his matches from now on" - I was more referring to the fact that his big runs of points to defend s now coming to an end, so if he can play even halfway decent from now on (e.g. at the level of a 200 player, even if not a 150 or 120 player), this chould mark the bottom of his fortunes in ranking terms.
I thought this week was going to be another down week when I saw the draw, so if the downard slide in the rankings has ended, it's ended at least a week earlier than I expected it too.
That is indeed only a swallow, but it's better than completely empty skies.

maybe it a swallow carrying a coconut and will drop it on bohlis head.
but i do agree with the point that really the points are mostly off now, he has 4 at RG, 5 at surbs and 20 from queens and thats it till after the uso i think.

not sure how long left with brad. i know brad wasnt with him this week tho. i think alex is feeling quite tired, both mentaly and physcialy at the moment so maybe this weeks break will help him before india.
interesting to see he beat muller after a day off, but here seems to have had a poor 2nd set to lose.
