Anytime I keep writing on this forum, Boggo has a good week, lol. However let's not get overexcited because the guy I talked to on the phone sounded drunk.

That must be overwhelming evidence that you don't write on this forum enough! wink

Hope the drunk man was right, anyway ... smile

I'd love it if the news was right and Boggo did win as this looks like the start of a reasonably promising week for him and getting him back towards the Britsh number 2 spot where he should be (but annoying he isn't playing anywhere next week to follow this up unless he fancies a trip to Scotland to play 1 week on the clay)

Yes, they are QF points from the same tournament last year (the information is but a single click away, I'll leave you to guess where wink), so he needed to win today to avoid dropping out of the GB top 3 next Monday.

He won 5-7 6-3 6-4 big win that really needs a good week soon if not just for the confidence.

Seconded! clap.gif   And if he can take out the second seed, the eighth, Stéphane Bohli (SUI), his QF opponent, should be a piece of cake...! biggrin

I wonder if this tournament will mark the end of the slide down the rankings and the start of the climb back up - really excellent result to come back from a set down against a former world no. 59.

L16: Alex Bogdanovic WR 255 beat (2) Gilles Muller (LUX) WR 125 by 5-7 6-3 6-4

QF: Alex Bogdanovic WR 255 v (8) Stephane Bohli (SUI) WR 163

Bohli beat Matt Smitth and Bloomers before losing to Colin Fleming in a GB Future in 2005 and has since played just two Brits, Parmar and Mackin, beating them both.

Nice one Boggo!

I tihnk Bohli will be more dangerous than Muller this week but have faith in Boggo!
