Great comeback from Mandy. I saw her play a couple of year ago and could see the raw talent and the athletic ability in her. If shes guided well she'll be top 200 soon. Not sure where she'll end up though.

I'd like to see her get a wimbo quallies WC and i think she could win a match or two if her draw isn;t a nightmare one.

Here is the full main draw. Bally has an intriguing match with the other feed-up, a former French Open quarter-finalist, who has won a lot of matches in ITF events this year on her return from a drugs ban. Katie's opponent used to be top 50 but is currently struggling for form. There is a big incentive for the qualifiers, as 2 play Moroccan wildcards.

I have posted before about Amanda when I saw her in Edinburgh last year. Great attitude, determination to go with solid ground strokes and she is also very tall...she made Jade Curtis look even smaller than she is !

Oh and a great smile !

Her match against Silva just started with Amanada breaking Silva's 1st service game. Unfortunately Amanda couldn't get any first serves in and lost her own service. Silva's 2nd service game also went to deuce.

The stats say she is being killed on her second serve (21% of second service points won)
